WHAT I WANT FOR YOU

Here in Spain, usually during the most intense part of a yoga class when your legs are frighteningly close to your ears and you muscles start to twitch, they say;

Disfrutar de la posiciĆ³n, enjoy the position.

Right, um, yes, of course.

It was during one of these moments recently that I asked myself;

Why do I do what I do?

I live out of a suitcase between three countries and over two continents, have very little in the way of personal possessions and the only real kind of routine I have is in fact making sure I write this blog each week!

So why do I do what I do?

This is what I want for you;

I want you to feel safe and relaxed in the knowledge that your trip is going to be vegan friendly.

I want you to get your suitcase out and start packing way before you should do because you can't wait to go on holiday.

I want you to breathe deeply and take it all in as you land on new and foreign soil.

I want to see the excited look on your face as we leave the guest-house and
stroll along the cobblestone streets towards a local restaurant to have our very first dinner together.

I want you to feel amazed that you just caught a glimpse in the corner of your eye of the top of a volcano as you were walking down the stairs to breakfast in Guatemala and have to back track just to secure that moment to memory.

I want you to see the sun rising over one of the most enchanting lakes in the world.

I want to see you feel a sense of accomplishment that comes with having pushed yourself outside of you comfort zone and how you realise you are capable of far more than you imagined.

I want you to feel excited for what tomorrow will bring.

I want you to meet the people who's wages you pay.

I want you to go home with some wonderful gifts that you just can't wait to give to your family and friends.

I want you to leave with a fresh sense of perspective, some beautiful memories and a story to tell.

This is why I do what I do.
